The Platters est un groupe vocal américain formé en 1952. Leur son distinctif était un pont entre la tradition pré-rock de Tin Pan Alley et le nouveau genre naissant. Le groupe a connu plusieurs changements de personnel, l'incarnation la plus réussie comprenant le ténor principal Tony Williams, David Lynch, Paul Robi, Herb Reed et Zola Taylor.
